Introducing the concept of crowdsourcing to a market accustomed to traditional hiring presented a significant UX challenge regarding clarity and trust. The client needed a platform that would instantly explain how to launch a contest and motivate freelancers to participate through clear financial incentives.
My goal was to design an intuitive visual workflow on the homepage that demystified the process from brief submission to winner selection. I focused on a data-driven layout that highlighted active contests and prize money to create a sense of urgency and activity, which is essential for a thriving two-sided marketplace.
